Kirk Petersen, founder of Petersen Consulting, provides executive level financial and business advice to businesses and organizations.

Mr. Petersen provided assurance, merger & acquisition, LBO and IPO services to companies for over 19 years as a Partner with Ernst & Young in public accounting. As a CPA his areas of specialization included high technology, manufacturing, real estate, financial services, and retail/restaurants. He then spent the following eight years as CFO/VP - Finance and Administration helping manage the business of three privately-held companies, raising $40+ million in capital, and positioning them for their IPOs and/or negotiating and affecting the sale of the business.

In 2001 Mr. Petersen retired and spent the next seven years traveling, studying, and pursuing non-commercial interests. In 2008 he began offering temporary or part-time business and financial advisory services to privately-held companies in the areas of corporate governance, transactional work, business planning and special projects as well as providing part-time COO and CFO services primarily in Southern California.

C.J. Westrick specializes in human resources, having worked as an HR manager in mid-sized (1,750) and small (25+) companies. She has extensive training in performance management, and currently helps companies ensure that the HR component of the business succeeds in supporting its needs. C.J. has her SPHR certification.
